As a Lighting Designer at Alam Al Idaa Lighting, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional lighting environments for a range of projects, including architectural, interior, theatrical. Your responsibilities will include:

Design and Specification:

• Collaborate closely with the design team to develop lighting concepts that align with project objectives, aesthetics, and budget considerations.
• Select appropriate light fixtures based on cost, performance, and aesthetic criteria.
• Specify suitable lighting products to meet project requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Project Management:

• Manage client relationships and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Define and maintain the lighting project scope, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project budgets.
• Effectively allocate design resources and deliverables to meet project timelines and budget constraints.
• Oversee project tenders, coordinate project activities, and ensure successful project closures.

Visualization and Communication:

• Create conceptual lighting images through the use of software manipulation tools and rendering techniques.
• Produce hand sketches to illustrate lighting intent, installation methods, and overall aesthetics to clients and project stakeholders.

Technical Expertise:

• Demonstrate expertise in electric lighting, daylighting, and lighting controls design.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, lighting technologies, and sustainable lighting practices.
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical and safety codes and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience in lighting design, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects.
• Proficiency in lighting design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of lighting fixtures, control systems, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company’s lighting products, including specifications, features, benefits, and applications.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors’ offerings.

Client Engagement:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities.
• Understand clients’ lighting needs, budgets, and project requirements.

Technical Consultation:

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients regarding lighting solutions.
• Offer customized lighting recommendations that align with client goals and budget constraints.

Sales Presentations:

• Create compelling sales presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the value of the company’s lighting products.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations for clients.

Quoting and Pricing:

• Prepare accurate and competitive price quotes for lighting products and services.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to close deals.

Project Management:

• Manage and coordinate lighting projects from inception to completion, ensuring client satisfaction and project profitability.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including design and installation, to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Market Research:

• Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and market demands.

Sales Targets:

• Set and achieve sales targets and revenue goals as defined by the company.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
